Bottles, April 25 Daily Reflection

The Bottle Wall

Are we just a bunch of bottles stuck together to form an art exhibit? Some of us are upside down and some of us are right side up but we are all stuck together and that’s what makes it a wall.

Do you ever feel like you are just another face in the crowd? Do you ever wonder if anyone would notice if you didn’t get out of bed in the morning? Do you ever feel like that bottle, you know the one in the middle, just stuck there in your life?

What you don’t realize is that if you took yourself out of that art exhibit, just one bottle from the middle, there would be a hole in the wall. The wall would become less stable. People would wonder why the artist did not complete the exhibit. You my friend would be missed, the foundation would be weak and there would be a void where once you stood.

In the wall we all seem to blend in and become one stable entity. However, when one is missing everything changes, the appearance, the balance, everything.

You my friend are not a bottle in an art exhibit you are a person, an adult, a brother, a sister, a daughter, a son, a dad, a mom, an aunt, an uncle, a grandchild, a friend, a coworker, a customer, a teacher, a student, a lover, a person, a human and a creation of God. You were given life with purpose part of that purpose is to support the walls in your life, and the lives of those who you come in contact with each and every day.

You my friend are not a bottle but an irreplaceable support in the art exhibit of life.
