Calling all of my Prayer Warriors, January 5, 2015 Daily Reflection

Prayer WarriorsI need all of my prayer warriors. A friend of mine from my church and school posted this on FaceBook: “After spending 5 days in the hospital with pancreatitis I was diagnosed on Friday with pancreatic cancer that has spread to my liver and left ovary. I will start chemo next week. While this is not a curable disease, Ronnie and I are staying positive that new advancements will bring us a miracle. We want life to be as normal as possible for us and of course Shelby and Lee. It’s not fair these sweet babies have to go through this. Somehow we are both still keeping our humor about us and find that comforting. So feel free to make fun of me as you always have  and don’t feel sorry for me. Again…as normal as usual is our mantra. I hope to keep working and complaining about how busy I am. Haha We love each of you tremendously and truly are very thankful for your support, love and laughter. Robin and Ronnie XOXO”

My heart is breaking for her and her family. She is an awesome mom to her two children and a wonderful wife to her husband. She is so many things to so many people. Reading her post knocked the breath out of me. I am so inspired by her positive energy, humor and her hope. All I can do is pray for her. I believe in the power of prayers and miracles. I need all of my prayer warriors to storm heaven for Robin. Please ask for a miracle and for God to lovingly embrace Robin and her family. I know she will feel the power of every prayer you pray for her. With united prayer anything can happen.
