Children are creative by nature. Their eyes see what we long to see but do not. They find no limitations to their imagination. When our imagination begins to soar it is thwarted by thoughts of “practicality” and “realistic” thinking. When was the last time you looked at a branch and thought about using it to draw a beautiful scene in the snow? We are no longer children but our children can teach us so much about innocence, creativity and kindness.

Try to analyze less and enjoy more. Try to look at the snow with the wonder and awe God created it for instead of the hazards it might bring to our modern lives.

Today, look for the innocence in the life around you and don’t stop your imagination instead let it flourish and enjoy it.
