Months before Christmas the plans for purchasing gifts begins. People set calendars for Christmas parties, gatherings, and dances. At least six weeks before Easter we begin a different type of journey to prepare for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a time to reflect on our selfish ways to become selfless like Jesus Christ. Holy Week is the week before Easter. It is that time that leads to the Triduum, three days – Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. It is a time to reflect on the happenings of our savior Jesus Christ. Remember it’s about you and Jesus Christ, as well as you and the community and the entire Catholic Church, and what Jesus Christ did that started Christianity. If it were not for Easter no one would be a Christian.
