Going towards the light
I am teaching my students about freedom and responsibility. It is easy to say I am American and I have freedom and then sue everyone possible for anything that infringes on your freedoms; from hot coffee to wet floors. True freedom is something completely different. True Freedom is using the free will God has graced us with for the good of all, to make good and just choices and to be responsible for those choices. Directing your life towards the good and not enslaving yourself in sin and addiction brings true freedom!
How good do you feel after you have done the right thing? How guilty do you feel after you have sinned? Work towards True Freedom in your own life and see how liberating it is to elevate others in this life and work towards the good of God.
