A gift
Each day we are given a new gift box. In the morning when we open our eyes and our feet hit the ground the gift has been accepted. Too many times we are mad; we did not get enough sleep, we are grumpy because we realize we have to go to work, we are upset that a new day has begun because we are just “over” life.
I saw the most brilliant sunrise a few weeks ago and told a friend about it. He said “I am over sunrises”. How can one be over the most brilliant beauty that God gives to humanity every morning?
God is giving us gifts daily. Today, except the gift with gratitude, say thank you and embrace it all day long. It is a gift that one day you won’t get. Enjoy it while you are able.
