I am writing this the night before the results of the election. At this point I don’t know who will be elected. I do know no matter who it is we should all pray for God to help America. Neither candidate is wholesome, moral, and good. I think all Americans have been holding a collective breath for months now. All we can do now is pray and attempt to participate more in the process.
Let’s pray that our country can handle the next four years.
Let’s pray that someone who is wholesome, good, and moral will step up for the election of 2020.
Let’s pray that an amazing transformation takes hold of our president and changes them for the good of our country.
Today, we need to pray…
I agree we should pray for our country and our leaders. I also believe:
“Our constitutional democracy demands our participation, not just every four years, but all the time.
…that the American Dream is big enough for everyone — for people of all races and religions, for men and women, for immigrants, for LGBT people, and people with disabilities.
… Our responsibility as citizens is to keep doing our part to build that better, stronger, fairer America we seek.
…. I still believe, as deeply as I ever have, that if we stand together and work together, with respect for our differences, strength in our convictions, and love for this nation -– our best days are still ahead of us…
Scripture tells us: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.”
…let us have faith in each other. Let us not grow weary. Let us not lose heart. For there are more seasons to come and there is more work to do…” Hillary Clinton 11/9/2016
I know that neither candidate was without sin or error in judgement, but I disagree that they were both immoral.
