Spencer and nature

Spencer and nature

When we hear God’s creation often times we think of nature, environment, and our world. Seldom, do we think of humanity. We seem to remove ourselves from the idea of creation. Might we remove ourselves from this concept because we have this egotistical idea that we are above nature and therefore not really a creation but more of a creator? We do have our hands in many inventions, ideas, and “creations”. We also think the world revolves around our existence. However, like Leann Rimes says, “I hope you feel small when you stand beside the ocean”. It is extremely important that we learn how to humble our egos and pride enough to realize we have been created by our creator. We didn’t wish or hope ourselves into existence and we did not create the earth and all it’s intricacies and wonders. We were created by God, who loved us into existence, who breathed life into our souls, who created the human anatomy and all that exists on this earth. We only need to look up once in awhile and become aware of the greatness of God’s amazing creations, of which we are just one of millions.

God gave us life, purpose, and the ability to love. God created us and for that we should be eternally grateful and take the time to understand why. Instead of questioning God’s existence we should question why he created us to exist, follow that path and discover our purpose and place in his mighty creation.
