Holy Cross student pulling weeds
Today, is the Holy Cross Great Day of Service!!! The entire school, 264 students, faculty, and staff will be serving at 8 different non-profit organizations in our Louisville community. The students will play games with the elderly, beautify the landscaping, care for little children, befriend adults with disabilities, help the homeless, and package food for the hungry. The students will be given tours of the organizations and be taught about the injustices that these organizations try to heal. The more our students get out in the community, become aware of the injustices, and befriend others, the more they realize there is no
us and
them. There is only
us, the entire human race!
