Materialism

In our lives we believe that wealth, honor, power, and pleasure will bring us happiness. The true source of joy, an inner and lasting happiness, is not obtained, it is intrinsically placed in our souls before our creation. That greatness is not that wealth, honor, power, or pleasure offer but instead the ability to be in intimate relationship with our creator, the ability to understand our purpose, to live a good and abundant life, not of materialism, but filled with selfless love, service, and goodness. To be great we must make ourselves servants of God’s love and truth. The truth is that all we have ever needed God has granted us before we ever existed, love. Stop looking outside and start the hard work of exploring the inside, that’s where the divinity and truth reside.
