Footprints in the sand
Walking through this world following the footsteps of Jesus Christ all the way to the cross is hard to do. Each time we care for someone; smile, hold a door open, compliment another person, hug someone, say hello, say good bye, acknowledge their existence or speak kind words, we are following Christ. Every time we stand up for another person and give them what they need in this life giving them comfort and love we are following Christ. Every time we love without judgement, care without concern about ourselves, stand against injustice and give everything we are to another we are following Christ to the cross.
There is no harder path to walk, there is no greater reward, than to walk in the footsteps of Christ to the cross.
