The big brother holding his little sister’s hand
He held her hand…not because he was told to by his mom
He held her hand…not because he was worried that she would get lost
He held her hand because she extended her hand to his
He held her hand because she is his little sister and quite simply he likes to hold her hand.
He held her hand in that moment and one day he will hold it as she looks up to her big brother for guidance
He will hold her hand for a lifetime taking care of her, protecting her from the boys and the reality of life
I pray that he will always hold her hand in this lifetime until they can hold hands one day again in heaven.
