How do we listen? Do we listen with the radio playing in the background, the TV blaring, the kids playing loudly outside? Do we stop what we are doing look into their eyes and truly listen or half hearted hear some words?
How should we listen?
Today, try listening to your children, spouse or friend in a different way. Try turning off the distractions, looking them in the eyes, not thinking about your response but listening to what they are trying to tell you. Today, simply try to listen!
