Kentucky Kingdom

Kentucky Kingdom

I understand that I am at a water park and people will wear bathing suits. Some women are very modest and what should be covered is covered and then there are those who are not. I truly don’t want to see what others look like naked but they walk around with barely any material covering private areas that I feel sure many men don’t want exposed. The amounts of tattoos I have witnessed in places that should be guarded are too many to count. Tattoos in general are unbelievably popular in our culture. It’s no longer a biker thing to do. It’s a fraternity, sorority, athletic team, artistic, old (with sagging tattoos), and young adult thing to do. I have seen butterflies flying from shoulder all the way down to ankles, hearts, skulls, flowers, tons of names, crosses, praying hands, rosaries, if you can imagine it I have likely seen it here in the water park. Tattoos are main stream now. My daughter asked when we left the park yesterday,”Mom, what percentage of people do you think have tattoos in Louisville?”

I believe it is great to have the confidence to wear a two piece bathing suit in public. But please keep in mind there are lots of people young and old that do not want to see your birthday suit or every inch of your private tattoos. Please practice a bit of modesty for the rest of us.
