New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2012 Daily Reflection

Jake playing the piano

On this eve of the New Year 2013 we should take stock of where we are in this life. Who we are to others and how we can better ourselves. Evaluation of self is not an easy task. We should constantly try to better who we are in this life. After the evaluation is completed and new goals are set we should then do something much more light- hearted. We should consider doing something new this year. We should think about signing up for a lesson – horse backing riding, painting, flying or playing the piano. Think about all the things you want to do and pick one that you can do this year. Try to choose one thing that will make you smile and take you outside of your safe little routine box. It is good to expand our horizons, challenge our minds and explore new hobbies. Let this be the year that you do something new!
