When the Risen Jesus appeared to the apostles in the upper room he said, Peace be with you. Probably so they would not fear him (after all he had just risen from the dead)! He was also blessing them with the peace he wanted to give them.
How often do we say, peace be with you? Only at Church on the weekends? How often do we offer our love and acceptance to others? How often do we listen with an open heart? How often are we there for others? How often do we feel compassion instead of frustration for others?
Today, find at least 3 (it’s a holy number) times that you can offer your peace to 3 different people. Not only will the peace you give help others it will also bring you peace. Try it!
