Pentecost, June 4, 2017 Sunday Tidbit

Jesus had to go to his father before the advocate could come to us. The advocate, Holy Spirit, descended upon the apostles and gave them all the gifts needed to do the work of Jesus Christ on this earth. We too have received those gifts. We need to take courage, step out of the saftey of our upper rooms and live the Gospel word by word and deed by deed.
