We are too busy in our lives to ever take the time for “us” as moms. We cater to everyone else’s needs. We work 24/7, 365 days a week, with no vacations, and sometimes without lunch breaks. We go, go, and go until we drop in our beds at night only to be awakened by a crying baby, a child with a nightmare or the sounds of a child becoming ill. Somehow our mates seem to sleep through such events. For us they are not events they are life.

I may have to sign up for the retreat in May instead of this month. My mom may not be able to watch my 4 little ones. Although, I would love to sign up for the free ticket.
