We are created in pure beauty and the light of God. As we grow we have labels put on us. That baby is so good, that child is stubborn, she is a great athlete, she is not so good at math, she talks back too much, she is an overachiever, she has degrees, she has so many accomplishments. Then we look at ourselves and say who am I really?

Each experience has helped you to grow and at the same time has covered up the purest sense of self, the core. The next part of life is spent pealing back the layers of labels to reveal the purest sense of self. It’s all a journey! Take the time to search, grow, and reveal. A good counselor or spiritual director can help the process!
