Sunset in my backyard
I saw the pink hues shining through my kitchen window as I was cleaning up from dinner. Then I heard my youngest son yell, “Mom, you have to see this.” He was running down the steps to get me. He grabbed my hand and took me to the window. We went into the backyard and this picture doesn’t do it justice. The entire sky looked like it was licked by flames. My children realize how much I adore and appreciate sunsets. He was so excited to share it with me. In amazement we just stood, and stared taking in the beauty of God’s creation lighting up our little corner of the world.
