Jake's stick person
I absolutely love this stage of drawing people. Jake is 4 years old and he does not draw the torso of any body yet. All his stick people have legs, a head and of course hair. I treasure this picture because I know how quickly the art will turn into more detailed treasures.
We as parents need to embrace every stage of our children. If I did not have 4 kids I don’t think I would even recognize the stage and that it will pass so quickly. But I remember and I know it will not last long before the picture will have a belly and clothes on it .
So for today I will treasure my stick person with no torso.
