The Big Four Bridge over the Ohio in downtown Louisville
If you live in the KY, IN area you MUST check out the new walking/riding bridge. My husband and I went out for a date last Saturday. We checked in at Tumbleweed on the river. They had an hour wait. But we were able to bring the pager on the bridge. We walked and watched the sunset over the river. Then returned for a late dinner. It is a cool place to go especially since the weather is becoming more like spring. Next time we are taking our children to ride bikes across it. I just love my city and all the cool things we get to do here in the ‘Ville.
Great idea to walk the bridge. Will have to try that soon. Bet the grandchildren would love it!
Glad to the references you make to “dates” with your husband. I have told the MOMS group I am involed with how important it is to carve out time alone. When the children all “leave the nest” you DO NOT want to look across the table and say to yourself, “who is this guy that I am looking at?”
