Today, is a day off from school!! It is a day that each one of us should reflect on the freedoms we have been given. The majority of our freedoms came with a price. Someone else paid that price with their lives. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of those people. We need more people like him. People who refused so stay quiet when they witnessed the rights of others being denied. People who did not use violence but instead peaceful acts of respectful protest. People who did not start riots or fuel angry mobs, but instead used knowledge, wisdom, piety, and love to win over a nation. We need more people like Martin Luther King Jr. to continue to move our nation to greatness.
