I am a Catholic School teacher, I served as a service coordinator for 9 years at my children&#8217;s grade school, I have been writing this blog daily for 6.5 years, I have created and led retreats, given motivational talks, been a Eucharistic minister, and have proclaimed the word of God as a lector. Each time I lector at Mass I approach the altar and as I bow I say to myself for the praise and glory of God alone and none for myself. I try to say this in all that I do. Everything I do is for God. I try my hardest to follow God&#8217;s call to me in my life no matter which way he is calling me. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt; margin: 0in 0in .25in 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #2b2b2b;\">There have been times when I have fallen into the idea that it is about me, but then I come back to the realization that none of it is about me, it is all about the glory I bring to God through my actions. My purpose is to bring others closer to God, I am only an instrument, and he is the musician. So, I believe this line of the Psalm is a perfect reminder of my mission in life;<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">&#8220;Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name give glory because of your mercy and faithfulness.&#8221; Psalm 115,<\/span><\/em><span class=\"apple-converted-space\"><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/span>because it is not about me it is about God! God is why I write every day, why I teach my students, why I proclaim His word, why I love my husband, children, family, and friends like I do.
