But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.\u2019 \u2013 Acts 1: 6-8<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We have this overriding concept of time. Our time is divided a few ways<br \/>\n1. Work productively at work, non -stop,<br \/>\n2. We must spend time with our family<br \/>\n3. We don\u2019t have enough time to do either completely<br \/>\nSo most of us concentrate on one or the other.<br \/>\nWe also want to control time, like it is a possession. However, it alludes each of us. We are born at a certain time in history. We race and chase time, we run out of time, we try to make more time for work and family, and friends. We are a society that defines our lives within the concept of time. So when Jesus said to his disciples, \u2018It is not for your to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority.\u2019 The disciples were befuddled. Again Jesus was saying something that made no sense to them.
