The nurse asked where it hurt and why I was crying. I responded, &#8220;Nothing hurts, it&#8217;s just that I have already failed as a mother! I had a birth plan to have my baby without medication. I failed!!!&#8221; The nurse talked to me and explained that it didn&#8217;t matter as long as I went home with my baby. I have always been a bit of an overachiever. <\/p>\n<p>She was right. Ethan was born and nothing else in life mattered. I prayed to have him and have loved him since before he was born. He has been a precious gift from God to my life and all those lives he has touched.
