It&#8217;s odd how much intention and action change a specific space and time. If I want to have an argument and the other person stops talking the quiet is horrible. If a loud engine is around and moves on the quiet is a relief. <\/p>\n<p>In the late evenings, lately, my house has been very quiet. My children are doing homework in the kitchen and my husband and I don&#8217;t want to disturb them. My husband reads, I write or read as well. It is a peaceful quiet I look forward to each evening. <\/p>\n<p>I treasure the quiet of an empty church and the talking of a crowded one after Mass.
