I would sing and dance and make up songs for God. I would climb the tree and watch the sunsets. I would swing on the swing as high as my feet could kick and imagine that I would hit a cloud. I would dance and play and never tire. I knew that God was with me. In the darkest night of my room when the shadows fell upon my walls I grasped for God\u2019s presence and although I feared the dark I knew God was near me. \u00a0I have felt His presence all my life. When the feeling fades the faith takes over and I know He is there.<\/p>\n<p>Faith is a gift from God. You have it or you don\u2019t. You believe or you don\u2019t. I accept the gift of faith, I thank God for it often. Without my faith I would not be the person whom I am today or the child I was back then.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong><em>You know when I sit and stand; you understand my thoughts from afar. My travels and my rest you mark; with all my ways you are familiar.
