When we are being good and trying hard to be good we<\/p>\n<p>Give up:<\/p>\n<p>Gossip<\/p>\n<p>Put Downs<\/p>\n<p>Cursing<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Yelling<\/p>\n<p>Pity Parties<\/p>\n<p>Excessive and Obsessive thoughts about what we should have done<\/p>\n<p>Negative thoughts<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do we give for God?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lots of stuff that is easier and feels good to do:<\/p>\n<p>Give:<\/p>\n<p>Smiles<\/p>\n<p>Hugs<\/p>\n<p>Kind Words<\/p>\n<p>Compliments<\/p>\n<p>Encouragement<\/p>\n<p>Positive thoughts<\/p>\n<p>All the goodness we can muster<\/p>\n<p>How much better do we feel when we give up the junk and give away the good? When we choose to put good into our lives and the lives of those around us everything feels better, looks brighter and makes our hearts lighter.<\/p>\n<p>Today what will you choose to do for God?
