The trees
Notice how the tree in this picture has a small tree wrapped around it; like it has developed and grown up and around the tree? Some would call this codependency in our cultural terms. Could the small tree live without the strength of the larger tree holding it up?
God is like the large tree standing steady and strong, unchanging and stable, unshakable. We should try to be more like the small trees and wrap our lives around God. It is not considered negative when our dependence is intertwined with God. If we wrap our thoughts, our actions and our goals around God’s unshakable and dependable love we will be able to know better God’s will for our lives.
Today, wrap your mind around God and say a prayer that God will give you the strength and courage it takes to wrap your life around Him as well.
