The passion is read on Palm Sunday. I was told this happens because most people do not attend Holy Week services. It is important to attend Holy Thursday Mass and listen to the installation of the first Eucharist. It is extremely important to attend Good Friday Mass to listen to the passion of Jesus Christ. As humans we must experience these scriptures in a real way through our emotions and physical reactions. God understood our need to be human so well that he sent Jesus Christ so that we could relate to God in a human way. I hope that each of you attend Palm Sunday Mass, receive your palms and hear the passion of Christ to prepare you for Easter.
